Pregnancy & Exercise
Between the long hours at the shop, being a mum to a busy toddler & trying to keep a house in order! Exercise totally vanished from my routine
with this pregnancy! Normally I always try and do some sort of exercise be it a walk, jog, swim or an exercise class but with this pregnancy nothing – zip!
So I decided over Christmas to do something about it and I signed up to the bump room pregnancy class in December and started in January. I’m now on my second term & I love it. It’s my hour! The classes are extremely well prepared. The exercises are gentle but push you to the limit at the same time I’m really enjoying them.
The classes are ran by chartered physiotherapists and the whole class is about taking care of your body during pregnancy & preparing it for the labour, birth & post-natal, their knowledge & experience is second to none.
The class is a really well balanced toning workshop for pregnancy working on your pelvic floor muscles, deep tissue tummy muscles to strong leg work – lunges, leg lifts & squats are all part of the class it’s no wonder I always sleep better after the class a much deeper more revived sleep.
If you are expecting definitely look these ladies up I guarantee you won’t be disappointed 🙂
